Welcome to Open Hearts Longhorns

She loved longhorns and he loved cows.
 
Falling in love with each other and with a longhorn, Regina, for a birthday gift to her, the dream of the Open Hearts Longhorns was formed. 

We began acquiring longhorns with special attention to horn, color, and meat quality.  The constant search for the “total package” is a challenge we love.  

We have enjoyed the journey thus far meeting breeders along the way.  Learning from breeders and showcases has been useful for us in establishing our longhorn herd.
